"I am the third generation of winemakers, following in the footsteps of my Grandfather, and Father. The Wine for me is much more than a simple word. It is my profession, my hobby, my pleasure. Engaged with wine, I am a part of a tradition and a culture that counts more than four thousand years in this place."

Douloufakis winery and vineyards are located in Dafnes, near Heraklion, on the island of Crete. The area under vines cultivated in Crete represents a great percent of the Greek vineyard.

We produce wines from worldwide known varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, but also Cretan indigenous ones, which have been awarded in international competitions.

Winery tour & wine tasting at Douloufakis Winery

The visitors wine experience starts even before arriving at the winery, as the route and the surrounded landscape is filled with images that emphasize the viticulturist character of the region. The tour starts from the production areas of the winery, continues at the cellar and ends at the tasting room where the guest then has the opportunity to taste our wines.
