"Ta Kymata" (the waves) is a traditional, three generation family-run Greek taverna, which was established in 1950 by a local fisherman and his wife. For sixty two successive years it has been offering simple yet freshly made local food using the best of local ingredients. The restaurant is also known as “Toula”, the owner, who carefully selects the ingredients and cooks with love old recipes of her father. That is one of the reasons the restaurant has been awarded from 2006 until today the Greek gastronomy award "Gourmet".
This small tavern is situated in a picturesque harbor, on the very coast, where its tables literally touch the sea and the small fishing boats. “Kymata” will offer you fresh local fish and seafood relishes, vegetables own produce and big, delicious, freshly-made salads. You could choose mouth-watering local sardines on the grill, fresh steamed mussels, grilled fresh calamares and octopus, fresh lobster, luscious langoustines and shrimps on the grill and many fish that you can have a look!You could also taste local traditional dishes, such as fish soup, fried red mullets, steamed grouper with vegetables or pasta with lobster.
